Hepatic is a complete dietary food specifically designed to address liver problems. The liver plays a crucial role in the processing of fat and regulation of lipid metabolism. Therefore, it is essential to provide substances that support the metabolism of the liver. Hepatic is enriched with lipotropic agents such as L-carnitine, lecithin, and choline that reduce the risk of fat accumulation in the liver, relieve the liver, and support the regeneration of liver tissue.

Key Features:

  • Indications: Hepatic is recommended for liver insufficiency and growth (suitable for kittens).
  • Contra-Indications: Hepatic is not suitable for cats with hyperlipidaemia. We recommend seeking a veterinarian's opinion before use or before extending the period of use.
  • Ingredients (Dry): Hepatic contains rice, poultry meal, poultry fat, corn gluten, poultry liver (hydrolysate), yeast, sodium chloride, fish oil, and vitamins and minerals.
  • Average Analysis (per kg): Hepatic has a protein content of 30.5%, fat content of 15.0%, inorganic matter of 7.0%, crude fibre of 1.5%, moisture content of 8.0%, and carbohydrate content of 38.0%. It also contains Vitamin A at 15000 IU/kg, Vitamin D3 at 1000 IU/kg, Vitamin E at 200 mg/kg, Vitamin C at 200 mg/kg, Calcium at 1.10%, Phosphorous at 0.90%, Sodium at 0.65%, Potassium at 0.54%, Copper at 20 mg/kg, Taurine at 1800 mg/kg, Lecithin at 5000 mg/kg, Choline at 2200 mg/kg, and L-carnitine at 300 mg/kg.
  • Energy: Hepatic has an energy content of 15.4 MJ/kg - 3675 kcal/kg.

Please note that it is important to consult with a veterinarian before feeding Hepatic to your cat, particularly in cases of chronic liver insufficiency. The recommended period of use is up to 6 months initially, but Hepatic can be safely fed for life after being prescribed by a veterinarian.
