The Aqua Ocean Premium Coral Sand Size 2 (1-2mm), 5kg is a natural sea sand made mainly of calcium carbonate, in a medium 1–2mm grain, used as a pH-buffering substrate in marine and reef aquariums.

How To Use

  • Rinse the sand in a bucket until the water runs mostly clear.
  • Spread evenly across the bottom of the tank before adding water and livestock.

Good To Know

  • Coral sand raises pH and hardness — don't use it in freshwater tanks for soft-water fish or plants.
  • Some cloudiness after filling is normal and settles as the filter runs.
