Royal Canin Oral Care is a dental dry food from the Feline Care Nutrition range, for adult cats aged 1 to 7 years. Royal Canin has renamed it Dental Care in its new pack design — you may receive either.

Why Dental Care Matters

Most cats over three show some sign of dental disease, and few owners manage to brush a cat's teeth. Plaque that is not removed hardens into tartar within days. This formula works in two ways: a mechanical brushing effect from the kibble's texture, and a chemical one from calcium chelators that trap the calcium in saliva before it can harden plaque into tartar.

Feeding Guide

• Follow the feeding table on the pack. As a guide, a 4kg cat at ideal weight needs about 56g a day.
• Change over across 7 days: days 1–2 75% old, days 3–4 half and half, days 5–6 75% new, then 100%.
• Always provide fresh water.

Please note: a dental food helps prevent tartar but cannot remove existing tartar. Bad breath, red gums or dropping food need a vet check.

Storage

• Keep in the original bag and reseal it, or use an airtight container.
