ZuPreem Real Rewards Treats are made with real pieces of fruit, nuts and vegetables for large birds — macaws, cockatoos, amazons and other large parrots. They are made for training, bonding and enrichment rather than for feeding as a meal.

Feed up to 10% of your bird's daily diet. The other 90% should be a complete diet. That limit is not a guideline to be stretched; treats of this kind are rich, and a parrot allowed to fill up on them will leave its balanced food, which is how nutritional deficiencies begin in pet birds.

Feeding Guide

• Feed up to 10% of your bird's total daily diet. No more.
• Offer by hand as a reward, or hide in a foraging toy to make your bird work for it.
• Wash your hands before handling treats.
• Make sure food and water bowls are clean before feeding.
• Remove uneaten fresh treats daily.
• Always provide clean, fresh water.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Reseal the bag after each use to keep the pieces from drying out.
