Good To Know

  • Fill the tray about 5-7cm deep, scoop daily and top up as you go.
  • Change litter types gradually - mix the new into the old over a week or so, as a sudden switch can put a cat off the tray.
  • Some cats dislike scented litter. If your cat starts avoiding the tray, try an unscented one.
  • Don't flush clumping litter. It sets hard in pipes.
  • One tray per cat plus a spare is the usual guide in a multi-cat home.
  • If you are pregnant or your immune system is weakened, ask someone else to clean the tray, or wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards.
