Royal Canin Maxi Digestive Care is a dry food from the Canine Care Nutrition range, for adult and mature large breed dogs (26–44 kg) over 15 months with digestive sensitivity.

Why Large Dogs Have Particular Digestive Trouble

Large breeds have a proportionally smaller gut for their body size than small dogs, and food passes through it differently. That makes them more prone to fermentation in the intestine, which shows up as wind and soft stools. This formula helps reduce fermentation in the gut with tailored proteins, fats and fibres.

Feeding Guide

• Follow the feeding table on the pack.
• Feed two meals a day and avoid hard exercise for an hour before and after eating — large deep-chested dogs are at risk of bloat.
• Change over slowly across 7 days, or longer for a sensitive dog. Always provide fresh water.

Please note: ongoing diarrhoea, blood in the stool or vomiting need a vet. A swollen belly with unproductive retching is an emergency.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the bag after each use.
