Why Large-Breed Growth Needs Care

A German Shepherd grows from a few kilos to 30 or more in little over a year, and its skeleton is still forming the whole time. Growing too fast — from too much food or too much calcium — puts strain on developing hips and elbows, in a breed already prone to problems there.

This formula uses adapted calcium and phosphorus for steady bone development, with highly digestible proteins for the breed's sensitive digestion.

Feeding Guide

• Follow the feeding table on the pack — do not free-feed a large-breed puppy.
• Split into three or four meals when young, reducing to two.
• Do not add calcium supplements. The food is balanced; extra calcium harms large-breed skeletons.
• Keep your puppy lean and avoid forced running and jumping while it grows.
• Change over gradually across 7 days. Always provide fresh water.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the bag after each use.
