Royal Canin Baby Dog Milk is a complete milk replacer for puppies from birth to weaning (0–2 months), for when the mother's milk is unavailable or not enough.

When a Puppy Needs It

Orphaned puppies, very large litters, a mother with too little milk, or a puppy that is not gaining weight all need supplementary feeding. Cow's milk is not a substitute — its composition is wrong for puppies and it commonly causes diarrhoea, which a newborn cannot afford.

Feeding Guide

• Prepare exactly as directed on the pack, and follow its feeding chart for amounts and frequency by age.
• Feed at body temperature, with the puppy on its belly — never on its back, which risks milk entering the lungs.
• Newborns need feeding round the clock, typically every 2–3 hours in the first week.
• Sterilise bottles and teats, and make up fresh each feed.
• Weigh puppies daily. Steady daily gain is the best sign things are going well.

Please note: hand-rearing newborn puppies is demanding, and they deteriorate very quickly. Involve a vet from the start, and seek help at once if a puppy is weak, cold, crying constantly or not gaining weight.

• Store in a cool, dry place. Close the container tightly after use.
