The Cat's Best Original Clumping Cat Litter is a clumping plant fibre litter made from wood fibres, sold in 8.6kg and 17.2kg bags. It was previously sold as Cat's Best Oko Plus.

How To Use

• Fill a clean tray about 5-7cm deep.
• Scoop out clumps and solids daily and top the tray up to keep the depth.
• Empty, wash and refill the tray when the base layer stops absorbing or starts to smell.

Good To Know

• Change litter types gradually. A sudden switch can put a cat off the tray, so mix the new litter into the old over a week or so.
• Cat's Best says clumps can be flushed one at a time, letting each clump break up first. Check your local rules, and don't flush if you are on a septic tank or have narrow or older pipes. Never flush the whole tray.
• One tray per cat plus a spare is the usual guide in a multi-cat home.
• If you are pregnant or your immune system is weakened, ask someone else to clean the tray, or wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards.
• Straining in the tray, crying, going outside the tray, or a change in the size or number of urine clumps needs a vet - this is an emergency in male cats.
