Cautions and Recommendations

While our Hypoallergenic Dietary Food is designed to accommodate pets with food hypersensitivity, it is not recommended for kittens, pregnant or lactating cats, those with hypersensitivity to lamb protein, or pets currently on a full dosage of urinary acidifiers. Furthermore, it is unsuitable for cases of urate, cystine, and calcium oxalate urolithiasis.

The recommended duration of use for Hypoallergenic (Lamb) is initially 3-8 weeks in case of food allergy or food intolerance and at most 6 months for the reduction of reocurring struvite formation. After extension of prescription, Hypoallergenic (Lamb) can be fed for life as a complete dietary food.
