Exo Terra TerraSky UV Mounting Clips let you fit the TerraSky UV LED Terrarium Light inside a terrarium rather than resting it above the screen mesh.

Why Mount Inside

This is worth doing, and the reason is straightforward: terrarium screen mesh filters out UVB, and a dense mesh can absorb up to half of it. Mount the light above the mesh and you lose that share before it reaches the animal. Mount it inside and the UV goes straight into the enclosure.

It also frees up the top of the terrarium and gives a tidier installation with no fixture perched on the lid.

Note on Placement

Mounting inside means the UV reaches your reptile unfiltered, so review the height and the output setting after fitting. What was correct through mesh may now be too strong. Always leave a shaded area where the animal can move out of the UV entirely.
