Cateco

Cateco makes a two-section cat litter box. The litter sits in an upper section on a nylon Aerator mesh, and liquid that works its way through drips onto an absorbent Dry-Pad in the base, rather than pooling on the plastic. Vents in the base let air move through.

What's In The Range

Starter Kit - the litter box, a 15cm height extension, a Noba litter scoop and ten Dry-Pads, in blue or grey
Dry-Pads - replacement absorbent pads for the base, ten per pack
Aerator mesh - replacement nylon screens, two per pack

Good To Know

The Dry-Pads are a running cost. Cateco's guide is to change one every three to four days once soiled. The Aerator mesh only needs replacing if it is damaged.
Both refills fit the Cateco box only - they will not fit a standard litter tray.
Clean the box with warm soapy water. Skip bleach, and skip pine or citrus cleaners, as the smell puts many cats off the tray.
A new box or a new litter can put a cat off, so introduce either gradually and keep the old tray available for a few days.
Straining in the tray, crying, going outside the tray or a change in the urine clumps needs a vet - this is an emergency in male cats.
