Fabotex 3-Step Pet Stairs with Removable Cover - 60x39x33cm

The Fabotex 3-Step Pet Stairs with Removable Cover is a soft three-step staircase that lets a small dog or a cat get on and off the bed or sofa without jumping — 60 cm long, 39 cm wide and 33 cm tall, with each step about 11 cm high.

Key Features

• Three steps of roughly 11 cm each — low enough for short legs and for older dogs that no longer trust a jump
• Foam core keeps the weight down so you can move it between rooms, while the 39 cm width gives it a stable footprint
• Steps are finished in a dense velvet-hand fabric with plush sides, which is grippier underfoot than a bare plastic step
• The cover unzips and comes off completely for washing
• Made in Italy by Fabotex

Getting Your Pet To Use It

• Put the stairs at the exact spot your pet already jumps from, and leave them there — moving them around resets the learning
• Lure with a treat one step at a time rather than lifting your pet onto the top step; coming down is harder to learn than going up
• Most pets need a few short sessions across several days. Do not push or carry a nervous animal up the steps

Care

• Unzip the cover and machine wash cool, then let it dry fully before fitting it back over the foam
• Vacuum the plush sides now and then — they hold shed hair

Good To Know

• Sized for small dogs and cats. A heavier dog will compress the foam and make the steps unstable — this is not a ramp for a labrador
• Place it on carpet or a rug where you can. On polished tile or laminate a foam base can slide when a pet pushes off
• Total height is 33 cm — measure your bed or sofa first. If the top step lands well below the seat, your pet still has to jump the gap
• Stairs reduce the repeated impact on joints and backs, which matters for long-bodied breeds like dachshunds, but they are a management aid, not a treatment. Sudden reluctance to jump, yelping or a wobbly back end needs a vet
