Description
Julius-K9 Security K-9 Harness Patch - Small is a pair of interchangeable patches for the chest strap of a JULIUS-K9 IDC harness. This one reads Security K-9, the working style wording in the range.
Key Features
- Hook-and-loop, so it changes in seconds: It presses onto the panel on the side of the chest strap and peels off again. One harness and a few patches cover the walk, the vet and the school run.
- Sold as a pair: JULIUS-K9 supply these in twos, one for each side of the chest strap, so the dog reads the same from either direction.
- Phosphorescent: JULIUS-K9 describe the standard patches as phosphorescent, which means they hold a faint glow for a while after being in the light. Treat that as a nice touch and not as a safety feature.
Getting The Size Right
- Baby 1 patches are 8 x 2 cm, Small are 11 x 3 cm and Large are 16 x 5 cm.
- Order by your harness size, not by how big the patch looks. A Large patch on a Mini harness overhangs the strap and peels off on the first bush it brushes past. Tell us which harness you have and we will send the right pair.
Fitting Them
- Press it down along its whole length and run a thumb over the edges. A patch pressed on at the middle only is the one you find on the pavement later.
- Take the patches off before you wash the harness, and wash them by hand in cool water.
- Brush the hook-and-loop out when a patch stops gripping. Hair and sand in the loops are almost always the problem rather than the patch itself.
Good To Know
- This pair is the Small size, 11 x 3 cm, and it fits the Baby 2, Mini-Mini and Mini harnesses.
- Supplied as a pair, one patch for each side of the chest strap.
- For JULIUS-K9 IDC harnesses. It needs the hook-and-loop panel on the chest strap, so it will not attach to a plain harness from another brand.
- These are novelty labels and nothing more. Do not use a uniform style patch to suggest your dog is a serving police, military, security or assistance dog, because in the UAE implying an official role your dog does not hold can land you in real trouble. Buy it for the joke, not for the access.
