JurassiPet JurassiQuench Insect Water Gel - 180 g

JurassiPet JurassiQuench Insect Water Gel - 180 g is a water and nutrition gel for feeder insects and pet invertebrates, in a 180 gram tub.

Key Features

• Water that insects cannot drown in: A dish of water drowns crickets and a damp sponge grows mould. A gel chunk does neither, and that is the whole idea.
• Calcium and vitamin C: JurassiPet enrich it with both, which is what separates it from a plain water gel. Calcium sitting inside a feeder insect is the thing that matters most to whatever eats it next.
• Does the job the orange slice used to: Keepers have propped crickets up with orange and potato slices for years. This does the same without rotting, going mouldy or drawing flies.
• Drop it in: No mixing and no measuring.

Using It

• Put a chunk in with the insects.
• Swap it out when it has visibly dried.
• Use it alongside a gut-load food such as JurassiDiet GutLoad. Water and food are two separate jobs, and your insects want both before they are worth feeding on.

Good To Know

• A 180 gram tub.
• For feeder insects and pet invertebrates: crickets, roaches, hissing cockroaches, mealworms, tarantulas.
• JurassiPet describe it as the only calcium and vitamin C enriched insect water source on the market. That is their claim about their own product rather than something we have tested.
• Not food for your reptile. It goes in with the insects.
• Keep the tub closed, because it is a gel and it will dry out on you.
• Out of stock at the moment. Ask us for the lead time.
