ZuPreem FruitBlend Flavor Pellets - For Medium Bird

ZuPreem FruitBlend Flavor is a complete daily pellet food for medium birds, sized and shaped for cockatiels, quakers, lovebirds and small conures.

The reason FruitBlend exists is simple: birds raised on seed are notoriously difficult to convert to pellets, and a bird that picks out its favourite seeds and leaves the rest ends up on an unbalanced diet. Adding real orange, apple, grape and banana makes the pellet something a bird will actually eat, so the nutrition ends up inside the bird rather than in the bottom of the cage.

Every pellet carries the same complete nutrition, so there is nothing for the bird to selectively pick out.

Please note: FruitBlend contains added colours (Yellow 5, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1). The colours are part of what makes it visually appealing to birds. If you prefer a pellet without added colours, the ZuPreem Natural range is the same complete nutrition in a uniform brown pellet.

Feeding Guide

• Feed daily as the foundation of your bird's diet.
• Keep fresh food and water available at all times.
• Discard uneaten food before each feeding.
• Converting from seed: birds resist change and some will refuse pellets for days. Mix a small proportion of pellets into the seed and increase it gradually over several weeks. Never starve a bird onto a new food, and weigh it regularly during the switch.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place free of pests and insects.
• Gently push the air from the bag and reseal after each use.
