ZuPreem PastaBlend Flavor is a complete daily food for conures, caiques, African greys, senegals, amazons and eclectus, made in pasta shapes rather than uniform pellets.

The shapes are the point. Parrots are intelligent, easily bored, and use their beaks as much for investigation as for eating. A bowl of varied shapes and colours engages a bird that has become bored of the same round pellet every day, which matters most with parrots that have started leaving their food.

Every piece carries identical nutrition regardless of shape or colour, so there is nothing for the bird to selectively pick out.

Feeding Guide

Bird Daily Amount
Conures, caiques 1/4 to 1/2 cup
African greys, senegals, amazons, eclectus 1/2 cup
Macaws, cockatoos 1/2 to 1 cup
  • Feed daily as the foundation of your bird's diet, at 60% or more of total intake.
  • Keep fresh food and water available at all times.
  • Discard uneaten food before each feeding.
  • Converting from seed: mix a small proportion into the seed and increase gradually over several weeks. Never starve a bird onto a new food, and weigh it regularly during the switch.

Please note: PastaBlend contains added colours. If you prefer a food without them, the ZuPreem Natural range is complete nutrition in a uniform brown pellet.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place free of pests and insects.
  • Gently push the air from the bag and reseal after each use.
