Catit

Catit is a Canadian cat brand that covers most of what a cat needs indoors - food, water, litter, play and places to sleep. The ranges are designed to work together, and most of the gear takes replaceable parts rather than being thrown away when one piece wears out.

What's In The Range

• Cuisine - wet cat food in trays, cartons and cans. Dinner, Fillet, Duet, Pate and Mousse recipes, plus Stew toppers.
• Creamy - lickable 10g treat tubes in four flavours, plus Superfood recipes, and the dishes, mats and spoon that go with them.
• PIXI - cat-faced drinking fountains, feeding dishes, app-controlled smart feeders and a pet camera.
• Go Natural - clumping cat litter made from pea husks, on its own or blended with bentonite clay.
• Senses 2.0 - ball circuits, slow feeders, scratchers, a grass planter and grooming stations that clip together.
• Vesper - wooden cat trees, dens and elevated beds, plus foldable fabric towers.
• Litter boxes and refills - the PIXI top-entry box, the SmartSift sifting pan, Magic Blue filters, carbon filters and liners.

Good To Know

• Check whether a wet food is complete or a topper before you buy. Catit's Pate, Mousse, Fillet, Duet and Chicken Dinner recipes are complete diets; the Stew cartons are labelled a cat treat, and the Fish Dinner trays are for intermittent or supplementary feeding.
• Catit Creamy tubes are a complementary food. Catit's guide is up to two or three a day for an adult cat, with the main meal cut back to match.
• Fountains need the filter changing every three to four weeks and a full wash every couple of weeks, and the pump must never run dry.
• Never rely on an automatic feeder as the only way your cat gets fed. Keep a manual plan for power cuts, and have someone look in daily if you are away.
• Straining in the litter tray, crying or passing little or no urine is an emergency in cats, especially males - see a vet straight away.
