Furbath

Furbath is an everyday pet care range covering the jobs between baths - wipes, toothpastes, calming sprays and deterrents - for both dogs and cats.

What To Look For

pH balance. Dog and cat skin sits around pH 7 to 7.5, where human skin is nearer 5.5. Anything you use regularly on a pet should be formulated for that difference - human wipes and baby wipes are not
Unscented options. Fragrance is the most common cause of a reaction to a grooming product, and cats tolerate it far less well than dogs. Where a product comes in an unscented version, that is the one to start with
Size and count. The wipes are 15 x 20 cm, which is enough for four paws or a wipe-down of a small dog

Good To Know

Grooming products are not treatments. Persistent itching, a smelly or greasy coat, or bad breath that will not shift are all reasons to see a vet rather than to buy more product
Patch test anything new on a small area and wait a day before using it all over
In this climate, reseal everything. Wipes in particular dry out quickly once the pack has been opened
