Carnilove Turkey & Salmon with Blueberries Paté Pouch Wet Dog Food - For Puppy - 12x300g

Carnilove Turkey & Salmon with Blueberries Paté is a complete grain-free wet food for puppies, made to mirror the diet a dog's ancestors ate — high in meat, with herbs, fruits and vegetables rather than fillers.

Puppies grow fast, and what they eat in the first year shapes the adult dog. Turkey supplies delicate, high-quality protein for building tissue. Salmon is the reason to choose this recipe: it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and DHA in particular is a structural component of the developing brain and retina. Puppies fed adequate DHA are measurably better at learning tasks. Blueberries add natural antioxidants that support immunity and normal urinary tract function.

The smooth paté texture also suits a puppy just weaned onto solid food, when kibble is still hard work.

Feeding Guide

• Suitable from weaning to 12 months.
• A puppy's daily amount changes week by week as it grows, and depends on its expected adult size. Follow the feeding chart printed on the pack and weigh your puppy regularly.
• Split the daily amount across three or four meals for a young puppy, reducing to two by around six months.
• Reduce the amount if you are also feeding dry food.
• Serve at room temperature.
• Always provide fresh drinking water.

Please note: a puppy should stay lean. You should be able to feel the ribs easily under a thin layer of covering. Overfeeding a growing dog, particularly a large breed, puts excess load on developing joints.

Storage

• Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place.
• Once opened, refrigerate and use within 2 days.
