• Catit states that, like all fish-based cat foods, this one is for intermittent or supplementary feeding only. Serve it with a complete food rather than as the whole diet.
• A diet made up mainly of fish is not balanced for a cat over the long run.
• Introduce a new food gradually over about a week - a sudden change often means an upset stomach or a refused bowl.
• If you feed wet and dry together, cut both back so your cat isn't overfed.
• Serve at room temperature. Cover any leftovers, keep them in the fridge and use within 24 hours.
• Fresh drinking water should always be available.
