How To Use

• Cats: fill the tray about 3-5cm deep. Remove solids daily, stir the pellets so the wet ones break down and settle, and change the whole tray when it stops absorbing.
• Small pets: use as the absorbent layer in the toilet corner or under the cage floor, with plenty of hay or soft bedding on top to sleep and burrow in.
• Birds: use as a cage tray liner, changed regularly.

Good To Know

• This is a non-clumping litter, so it works differently from a clumping one. You stir and fully replace rather than scooping clumps out.
• Pellets alone are not bedding. Small pets need hay or soft bedding on top to nest in.
• Check with your vet or a species care guide before using any wood-based product for birds or small mammals - what suits one species does not suit all.
• A rabbit or guinea pig that stops eating or stops passing droppings needs a vet the same day - gut stasis is an emergency.
• Change litter types gradually for cats. A sudden switch can put a cat off the tray.
• If you are pregnant or your immune system is weakened, ask someone else to clean the tray, or wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards.
• Straining in the tray, crying or passing little or no urine needs a vet - this is an emergency in male cats.
