M-PETS Stoko Airtight Pet Food Container, White - 12 L

M-PETS Stoko Airtight Pet Food Container is the upright food bin in the M-PETS range - a push-to-open lid on a sealed body, with a compartment in it for a desiccant pack.

Key Features

• 12 litres, which M-PETS give as up to 6 kg of food
• 38.2 x 24.7 x 23 cm, so it goes in a cupboard rather than standing in the kitchen
• Push-to-open and push-to-close lid, one hand and no catch
• A seal ring round the lid for an airtight close
• A desiccant compartment, which is the part that deals with humidity rather than just air
• ABS, PP and rubber

Good To Know

• Decant the bag and keep the bag. The feeding guide, the batch code and the best-before date are all printed on it, and you want them if anything goes wrong.
• Wash and dry the container between bags rather than tipping new food on top of old. The oil left behind goes rancid and taints the next bagful.
• The desiccant compartment is the reason to pick this one here. Air is the problem in a dry country; humidity is the problem in this one, and a desiccant pack is what answers it.
• A desiccant pack is a consumable. It stops working once it is saturated, so replace or dry it rather than leaving it in for years.
