Description
The Duvo+ Pick Block with Oyster Grit is a calcium pecking stone for cage and aviary birds, with crushed oyster shell mixed in. Your bird pecks at it between meals for minerals and to keep its beak in shape.
Key Benefits
- Source Of Calcium: birds need calcium for strong bones, and the block lets them take it as they need it.
- Beak And Nail Care: pecking and climbing on the stone keeps the beak sharp and the nails short.
- Added Oyster Grit: the grit helps birds grind and digest seeds and grains.
- Something To Do: pecking gives a caged bird an activity, which Duvo+ say helps prevent boredom and feather pecking.
- Easy To Fit: it fastens to the side of the cage.
Size
- 200 g - about 7.2 x 9.7 x 3.5 cm
Good To Know
- Suitable for budgies, canaries, lovebirds, parakeets, parrots, pigeons, and tropical and European birds.
- Hang it within easy reach of a perch, away from the water bowl so it stays dry.
- It is a supplement, not a meal. Keep feeding your bird its normal seed or pellet diet with fresh water every day.
- Replace it when it has been pecked down or gets dirty.
