Description
The Dymax RF-20 Refractometer is a handheld refractometer that gives an instant salinity reading from a few drops of seawater.
Key Features
- Reads salinity from a small sample
- Designed for seawater; corrosion-resistant build
- More accurate than a floating hydrometer
Good To Know
- Calibrate before use with RO water (or calibration fluid) at room temperature.
- Wipe the prism clean with fresh water after each reading; salt residue ruins accuracy.
- Top up evaporation with fresh RO water, not salt water — salt doesn't evaporate.
