Dymax Clear-Mix Water Clarifying Filter Media - 500 ml

Dymax Clear-Mix is a filter media made of small porous polymer beads that pull dissolved and suspended impurities out of the water and take out the yellow tint left by driftwood and feeding.

Key Features

• Polishes The Water: absorbs impurities and discolouration for clear, bright water.
• Removes Organic Waste: takes out nitrogen-containing organic waste before it breaks down into ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
• Small Beads: S size beads of about 1 mm, with a filter bag included in the pack.
• Renewable: when the beads darken they are spent, and can be renewed with a bleach treatment or replaced.
• Freshwater And Marine: made for both freshwater and marine aquariums, with minimal effect on trace elements.

Sizes We Hold

• 500 ml - treats up to 2,000 L
• 1 L - treats up to 4,000 L

Good To Know

• Rinse the beads before use, then place them in the supplied bag where water flows through the filter.
• Dymax rate each 500 ml for up to 2,000 L of aquarium water for up to 6 months.
• It also removes tannins, so leave it out of a blackwater tank where you want the tea-coloured water.
• If you renew the beads with bleach, rinse them very well and dechlorinate before they go back in the tank.
