Description
The Dymax Pro-Lite 100 pcs is a highly porous biological filter media that gives beneficial micro-organisms a large surface to break down ammonia and nitrite.
Key Features
- Highly penetrative porous structure for beneficial bacteria
- For freshwater and saltwater
- Use in trickle, canister, sump and top filters
- 100 pieces per box
Good To Know
- Rinse biological media in old tank water, never under the tap — chlorinated water kills the bacteria that protect your fish.
- Never replace all your filter media at once; change a portion at a time so the bacteria colony survives.
- Cycle a new tank before adding fish: give the filter bacteria around 4–6 weeks to establish and test for ammonia and nitrite first.
