Description
Dymax White Filter Wool is a non-toxic filter pad that traps fine floating particles, for cutting to size and placing in your filter or sump. The pack holds two 50 x 50 cm sheets, 3 cm thick.
Key Features
- Mechanical Filtration: catches loose particles to keep the water clear.
- Biological Support: gives beneficial bacteria a surface to grow on.
- Cut To Fit: large sheets that can be cut to suit most filter trays and sumps.
- Freshwater And Marine: non-toxic and suitable for both types of aquarium.
Size
- 50 x 50 x 3 cm - 2 sheets per pack
Good To Know
- Place the wool where the water enters the media first, before sponges and biological media.
- Rinse it in old tank water when it clogs, and replace it once it stays dirty after rinsing.
- Do not wash it under the tap - chlorine kills the useful bacteria.
