The FARMA Wild Bird Special Mix is a seed blend for wild, seed-eating garden birds, sold in a 1 kg bag for a single feeder or a 20 kg sack for feeding regularly.

Feeding

• Put out small amounts often rather than a large amount occasionally, so the seed does not sit and spoil
• Clean feeders and tables regularly with hot soapy water. Dirty feeders spread disease between birds very efficiently
• Keep fresh water nearby and in shade — through a UAE summer, water matters more to wild birds than seed does

Good To Know

• Stale or damp seed grows mould, and some moulds are lethal to birds. Throw out anything that has caked or smells musty
• Feeding wild birds also attracts feral pigeons, rodents and cats. Site feeders where cats cannot ambush, and sweep up what falls
• Some UAE communities restrict the feeding of birds. Worth checking your building or community rules first
• This is a mix for wild birds, not a formulated diet for a caged pet bird
