The Fida No-Pull Dog Harness with Saddlebags is a padded walking harness with a pair of zip-out saddlebags built into the sides — a day-pack your dog carries, rather than a harness you clip a pack onto.

• Small — neck 34–48 cm, chest 44–54 cm
• Medium — neck 44–64 cm, chest 54–70 cm
• Large — neck 50–74 cm, chest 64–86 cm
• Extra Large — neck 56–80 cm, chest 74–104 cm
• Measure your dog rather than guessing from its breed. Two dogs of the same breed can be two sizes apart
• Measure the chest at the widest point, just behind the front legs, and the neck at the base where a collar sits

Fitting

• Two fingers should slide flat under the strap. Tighter than that rubs; looser than that comes off over the head
• Check the fit again after the first long walk. Padded harnesses settle, and a harness that shifts rubs behind the elbow

Good To Know

• Watch the load if you use the saddlebags. The usual guidance for a fit adult dog is no more than about 10 to 15% of its bodyweight, and less for a dog that is not used to carrying
• Do not load a puppy's pack at all. Growth plates are still open until roughly a year old in most breeds, and longer in large ones
• Balance the two sides. An uneven pack pulls a dog off its natural gait
• A front clip reduces pulling by changing the direction of force. It is a management tool, not a training method — it works while it is on
• Wipe the webbing with warm water and mild soap and let it dry fully. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the hardware
