How To Use It Well

• Move the lure away from the cat and across their line of sight, the way prey moves. Waving it at their face makes them back off
• Let it disappear behind a chair leg or under a rug and pause. The stall is what triggers the pounce
• End the session by letting the cat catch and hold the lure. A chase that never ends in a catch is frustrating rather than satisfying

Good To Know

• Catnip does not work on every cat. Roughly one in three has no response to it, and kittens under about six months usually do not react at all
• Put the toy away between sessions. Constant access dulls the response, while a rest of a few hours brings it back
