GiGwi Heavy Punch Boxing Pear Canvas & Rubber Dog Toy - Large

The GiGwi Heavy Punch Boxing Pear is a punchbag for dogs -- a boxing-pear shape built from heavy cotton canvas and leatherette over a rubber core, with a squeaker inside. It is the toughest thing in GiGwi's soft-toy range, aimed at dogs who get through plush in an afternoon.

Key Features

• Canvas and leatherette: Extra-strong cotton canvas with a leatherette layer -- a long way up from ordinary plush.
• Rubber core: Gives the toy shape and something firmer for a dog to chew against.
• Squeaker inside: Rewards the shaking and thrashing that this toy is designed to take.
• Gentle on the mouth: Tough on the outside without hard edges to catch a tooth.
• Large: One size, suited to medium and larger dogs.

Heavy Punch: Which One

• Boxing pear (Large) -- this one, the bigger and tougher of the two.
• Punching bag -- a smaller canvas version with a rope handle, better for small and medium dogs.

Good For

• Dogs who destroy plush toys but still want something soft.
• Shake, thrash and carry play.
• Owners tired of replacing a toy a week.

Good To Know

• This one is out of stock at the moment, so the page is here for reference while we wait on the next delivery.
• Tougher than plush, but not a power-chew toy. Bin it once the canvas opens up.
• No toy is indestructible. Check it over before every session and bin it once it splits, frays or starts shedding pieces, because swallowed fragments cause blockages.
• The squeaker is a hard plastic insert. If your dog's goal is to dig it out rather than play with the toy, this is not the right toy for them.
• Canvas and leatherette do not go in the washing machine. Brush it off and wipe it down.
• Not a children's toy. Keep it with the pet's things.
