The GiGwi I'm Hero Armor Plush & TPR Squeaky Dog Toy wraps a plush animal in thermoplastic rubber plating. The rubber covers the seams and the high-wear areas, which is where soft toys normally give out, and there is a squeaker underneath it all.

What TPR Is

TPR is thermoplastic rubber -- a soft, flexible, rubbery plastic. It is gentler on teeth than hard nylon and more durable than plush on its own, which is why GiGwi build so much of the range around it.

Before You Pick A Character

• The three characters are priced differently, which suggests they are not all the same size. GiGwi publish one set of measurements for the range, so treat it as approximate and ask us if the exact size matters for your dog.
• Rabbit is in stock; the alligator and hippo are not, at the time of writing.

Good To Know

• Armour buys a plush toy time against a determined chewer. It does not make it a power-chew toy.
• No toy is indestructible. Check it over before every session and bin it once it splits, frays or starts shedding pieces, because swallowed fragments cause blockages.
• Plush toys are not chew-proof. If the seams open, take the toy away and throw it out -- stuffing and squeakers are a choking and blockage risk, not just a mess.
• The squeaker is a hard plastic insert. If your dog's goal is to dig it out rather than play with the toy, this is not the right toy for them.
• Most plush toys survive a cold hand wash and air drying. Skip the tumble dryer, and do not machine wash anything with a squeaker or a hard insert unless GiGwi say you can.
• Not a children's toy. Keep it with the pet's things.
