Hobby Timber Rock Aquarium Decor - XL

Hobby Timber Rock Aquarium Decor is a resin replica of petrified wood, and the reason to choose it over real bogwood is straightforward: it does not leach tannins, does not need weeks of soaking and does not sink or float unpredictably.

Key Features

• Four Sizes: small through to extra large. Pick above.
• Extremely Light: easy to reposition, and kind to a thin base pane.
• No Tannins: real wood tints the water brown for months. This does nothing to water colour or clarity.
• No Soaking Needed. Rinse it and use it.
• Inert And Fish-Safe, with no effect on pH or hardness.

Good To Know

• Pick the size above.
• Rinse it under the tap before it goes in, and have a look for sharp edges or casting flash on any moulded piece.
• Keep decor clear of the filter intake and the heater. Blocking either is how a tidy layout quietly becomes a problem.
• Build so it cannot collapse. Anything stacked in a tank should still be stable if a large fish swims into it, or if you nudge it with a siphon.
• Scrub algae off under the tap with a brush and plain water. No detergent, ever, on anything going back in a tank.
