Description
The Vacation Block is a slow-dissolving feeder that keeps fish fed while you are away. It releases food particles gradually rather than all at once, so the tank is not fouled by a week of food dumped in on day one.
Key Features
- Feeds up to 15 average-sized fish in a 50–60 litre aquarium for 10 to 14 days.
- Dissolves slowly, releasing food particles steadily over the period.
- No timer, feeder or neighbour required.
- 40 g block.
How to Use
Add the block shortly before you leave, in an area with reasonable water movement so it dissolves evenly. Best results come at a water temperature around 22 °C and above. Do a water change before you go and leave filtration running as normal. It is worth trialling a block for a weekend before relying on one for a two-week trip, since dissolve rate varies with temperature and flow.
