M-PETS Dancing Butterfly Electronic Cat Toy

M-PETS Dancing Butterfly Electronic Cat Toy is a butterfly on the end of a long springy wire, flying in circles above a weighted white dome - the thing that gets a cat up on its back legs.

Key Features

• A yellow butterfly on a long wire that circles above the base
• A low white dome base, weighted so it stays put
• One button on the side with an indicator light beside it
• The wire flexes, so the butterfly keeps moving after a swipe

Good To Know

• Anything with a battery in it is not a toy to leave out with a cat that chews. A swallowed button cell burns through tissue within hours and is an emergency, not a wait-and-see.
• This is a toy a cat uses on its own, which is what you want for the hours you are out. It is not a substitute for ten minutes of you on the end of a wand.
• The height is the point. A butterfly flying at head level pulls a cat up onto its hind legs, which is the stretch an indoor cat otherwise never gets.
• Feathers, string and small parts come off in the end. A cat that swallows string needs surgery rather than an appointment, so look the toy over each time you put it away and bin it when something is working loose.
