Description
Epakitin® is a nutritional supplement powder that helps support kidney function and slows down the progression of chronic kidney disease by using chitosan, a natural ingredient, which limits absorption of phosphorus from the intestines. Give the recommended amount twice a day, mixed with food.
- Our chitosan-based phosphate binder is highly-palatable & supports renal function in dogs & cats
- Contains chitosan (a natural polysaccharide), calcium carbonate, lactose & hydrolyzed soy protein
- Soy protein-based nutrition powder naturally supports normal kidney function & health in dogs & cats
- Easy to administer; can be used in conjunction with kidney support diets for phosphate management
- Aluminum Hydroxide-free; phosphate binders help decrease serum phosphorus, urea & creatinine levels
HOW TO USE: Give 1g per 11lbs (5kg) of body weight orally in the morning and the evening. One level scoop (scoop provided) contains 1g of Epakitin. Included Components : Epakitin for Dogs and Cats (60 gm) Ingredients: Epakitin contains Lactose, Calcium Carbonate, Chitosan and Hydrolyzed Soy Protein.
