Zolux Neo Cosy Large Rodent Cage with Wooden Legs, Beige - 78 x 48 x 80 cm

Zolux Neo Cosy Large Rodent Cage with Wooden Legs is a small animal cage on four beech legs, 78 x 48 x 80 cm, with widely spaced bars and a beige base.

Key Features

• Tallest cage in the Neo range, with two wooden platforms and two ramps stacked up the height of it
• Hay rack fitted at floor level
• Four splayed solid beech legs lift the cage to table height, so you are not kneeling on the floor to reach your pet
• Deep moulded base holds a proper depth of bedding without it spilling
• Whole top lifts open, and there is a door in the front as well
• Beige base and top frame with white bars

Good To Know

• Installation is not included. A cage this size arrives flat-packed, and the four wooden legs go on before it will stand up.
• These bars are set wide, which suits a guinea pig or a rabbit but not a dwarf hamster or a mouse. For those, the fine-mesh cages in the same range are the ones to look at.
• Rabbits and guinea pigs do not shed heat the way we do, and above about 28 degrees they are in real trouble. Keep the cage in an air-conditioned room, never on a balcony or in a sunny window.
• Fill the deep base with bedding rather than lining it. Burrowing animals do most of their living below the surface, and a thin layer gives them nothing to dig.
• The wooden platforms, ramps and legs will be gnawed. That is what untreated beech is there for, but expect them to end up looking chewed, because they will be.
