ZuPreem AvianBreeder FruitBlend Diet for Parrots & Conures is a complete extruded diet enriched for the demands of breeding, in a pellet sized for medium parrots, conures, senegals, caiques and similar birds.

Breeding is the most nutritionally expensive thing a bird does. Egg production draws heavily on protein, calcium and amino acid reserves, and a hen rearing chicks is feeding two appetites from one body. This diet is built up in protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to cover that, and it is fed through conditioning, laying, chick rearing and the recovery period afterwards.

It is made as five different coloured, fruit-shaped pellets, which encourages interest and eating. Because every pellet is nutritionally identical, a bird cannot pick out the bits it likes and leave the rest — the selective feeding that undermines seed-based breeder diets is simply not possible.
