Description
ZuPreem PastaBlend Flavor is a complete daily food for cockatiels, quakers, lovebirds and small conures, made in pasta shapes rather than uniform pellets.
The shapes are the point. Birds are neophobic about food but curious about objects, and a bowl of varied shapes and colours engages a bird that has become bored of the same round pellet every day. It is the same complete nutrition in a form that gets more interest, which matters most with birds that have started leaving their food.
Every piece carries identical nutrition regardless of shape or colour, so there is nothing for the bird to selectively pick out.
Key Features
- Complete daily food for cockatiels, quakers, lovebirds and small conures
- Pasta shapes and colours to engage a bird bored of uniform pellets
- 14% protein with added lysine and methionine
- Every piece is nutritionally complete, whatever its shape
- Vitamin D at 500 IU/kg and vitamin E at 60 IU/kg

Feeding Guide
| Bird | Daily Amount |
| Cockatiels, quakers, lovebirds, small conures | 1/8 to 1/4 cup |
- Feed daily as the foundation of your bird's diet, at 60% or more of total intake.
- Keep fresh food and water available at all times.
- Discard uneaten food before each feeding.
- Converting from seed: mix a small proportion into the seed and increase gradually over several weeks. Never starve a bird onto a new food, and weigh it regularly during the switch.
Please note: PastaBlend contains added colours. If you prefer a food without them, the ZuPreem Natural range is complete nutrition in a uniform brown pellet.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place free of pests and insects.
- Gently push the air from the bag and reseal after each use.
