ZuPreem Sensible Seed Blend - For Parrot & Conure - 0.91kg

ZuPreem Sensible Seed combines seeds with FruitBlend Flavor Smart Pellets for conures, caiques, African greys, amazons and eclectus. It exists for a specific reason: most bird owners want to feed some seed, birds want to eat seed, and a straight seed mix is a poor diet. This is the compromise.

The important number is only 10% sunflower seeds. A typical parrot seed mix is heavy with sunflower, and sunflower is what a parrot picks out first and eats to the exclusion of everything else. It is high in fat and low in most of what a bird needs. Capping it at 10% and blending in complete pellets means the bird cannot simply live on the fatty bits.

Important: this is not a complete daily diet. ZuPreem's guidance is to feed up to 30% of the total food your bird eats each week, with the remaining 70% or more a complete pellet such as ZuPreem FruitBlend or Natural.
