Description
The Aqua Ocean SPS Premium Marine Salt 5kg Bag is a reef salt made for SPS hard coral aquariums, with raised calcium, magnesium and strontium plus trace elements, vitamins and amino acids.
Key Features
- Formulated for SPS (small polyp stony) hard corals
- Calcium, magnesium and strontium, with trace elements found in natural seawater
- Enriched with multivitamins and amino acids
- Nitrate, phosphate and silicate free
- 5kg bag makes about 150 litres (39 US gallons) of saltwater
How To Use
- Add about 1kg of salt to 30 litres of RO or dechlorinated water.
- Mix with a pump or powerhead until fully dissolved and let the water settle before use.
- Check salinity with a refractometer or hydrometer, and match temperature to the tank before a water change.
Good To Know
- Never add dry salt straight into a tank with livestock.
- Keep the bag sealed and dry — salt absorbs moisture and can clump.
