Carnilove Fillets in Gravy Wet Cat Food - 6x85g - Trout

Carnilove Fillets in Gravy are real meat fillets in gravy for adult cats — 85% meat, served as whole fillets rather than a paste, so a cat can see and feel what it is eating.

Texture matters more to cats than most owners realise. Cats form food preferences young and hold them stubbornly, and a cat that has decided it does not like paté will often eat fillets happily. Having six flavours to rotate through helps too, because cats can develop an aversion to a food they have eaten daily for months.

The gravy is not just for taste. Cats are poor drinkers by evolution — desert animals that took most of their water from prey — and every gram of moisture they take in with food is water they will not otherwise seek out.

Six Flavours

• Trout
• Duck
• Wild Boar
• Pheasant
• Quail
• Turkey

Each is paired with a functional herb — chamomile, raspberry leaves or valerian root among them — chosen for its traditional use rather than as decoration.

Feeding Guide

• Follow the feeding table printed on the pouch, which sets the daily amount by your cat's bodyweight.
• Reduce the amount if you are also feeding dry food.
• Serve at room temperature. Cats judge food largely by smell, and cold food from the fridge smells of very little.
• Rotate flavours to keep a cat interested, but change gradually if your cat has a sensitive stomach.
• Always provide fresh drinking water.

Storage

• Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place.
• Once opened, refrigerate and use within 2 days.
