Good To Know
- Acclimatise corals to new lighting gradually — start at lower intensity and raise it over a few weeks.
- Keep lighting to about 6–8 hours a day on a timer — long photoperiods are the most common cause of algae.
- Keep light fittings clear of splashes and condensation.
