Fish4Dogs Support+ Skin & Coat Mackerel Morsels - 225g

The Fish4Dogs Support+ Skin & Coat Mackerel Morsels are baked fish morsels from the Support+ range, built on mackerel with krill added for omega-3 — a treat with a specific job rather than a general one.

Key Features

• Mackerel-based, with krill worked in as an omega-3 source
• 30.5% crude protein
• Marine omega-3 arrives as EPA and DHA already formed, so a dog does not have to convert it the way it must with plant oils
• Part of Fish4Dogs' Support+ range, where each treat carries additives aimed at one health consideration — here, skin and coat
• A complementary food. It is made to go alongside a complete diet, not to replace one
• Made by Fish4Dogs, a British company that builds its recipes around fish rather than using it as a flavouring

Feeding

• Small dogs: 2 morsels a day. Medium dogs: 3. Large dogs: 5
• That is the daily maximum, not a target
• Keep treats to roughly a tenth of the day's calories, and take the difference off the main meal
• Always leave fresh, clean drinking water available

Good To Know

• A complementary food. It is made to go alongside a complete diet, not to replace one
• Skin and coat respond to omega-3 slowly. Give it six to eight weeks before judging whether it is working
• A dull coat, itching or hair loss can have causes a treat will not touch — parasites, allergy, thyroid disease. Worth a vet's look before assuming it is diet
• Fish is a common trigger in dogs with food sensitivities. If your dog has itchy skin or recurring ear trouble, fish is worth ruling in or out with a vet rather than feeding more of
• Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place
