Four Paws Keep Off! Dog & Cat Repellent Aerosol - 10oz

The Four Paws Keep Off! Dog & Cat Repellent Aerosol is the aerosol format, which lays a finer and more even film than a trigger spray and suits fabric and planting beds where a wet patch would show.

Key Features

• 10oz aerosol can
• Finer, more even coverage than a trigger spray
• For dogs and cats, indoors and outdoors
• Up to 24 hours per application

What Is Actually In It

• The active ingredient is methyl nonyl ketone at around 1.9 per cent. It is an EPA-registered repellent, not a fragrance
• That means it should be used to the label - the right surfaces, the right frequency, and kept away from food preparation areas and from fish tanks
• Spray the place, not the pet. Repellents are for furniture, bins and borders, and are not meant to go on an animal
• Ventilate the room after spraying indoors and let it dry before pets come back in

Making A Repellent Work

• Repellents only hold while the scent lasts, which is why the label says daily. Miss a day and the animal re-learns that the sofa is fine
• Repellents work on some animals and not others, and no spray will outlast a cat that genuinely wants to be somewhere. Pair it with giving the cat a better alternative in the same room
• For cats off worktops, the reliable answer is making the worktop boring - nothing to eat, nothing to knock off - plus somewhere high they are allowed to be

Aerosol Care

• Spray in a ventilated room and keep pets and children out until it is dry
• Do not spray near a naked flame, and store the can away from heat - which in a UAE summer means not in a car
• Hold the can about 30 cm from the surface
