Himalayan Barkeetos Crunchy Dog Treat - Cheese

Himalayan Barkeetos Crunchy Dog Treat - Cheese is a small crunchy snack rather than a chew - bite-size pieces of cheese-flavoured treat you can hand over one at a time. That makes it the most useful thing in the Himalayan range for training, where you need twenty small rewards rather than one big occupation. Himalayan make it with lactose-free cheese and describe it as high in protein and low in fat.

Key Features

• Bite-Size And Crunchy: quick to eat and easy to carry, so it works as a reward you can repeat without filling your dog up on one treat.
• Lactose-Free Cheese: real cheese flavour without the lactose, which is the usual reason dairy treats disagree with dogs.
• High Protein, Low Fat according to Himalayan. The pack does not print a guaranteed analysis on this listing, so we are repeating the brand's description rather than giving you numbers.
• Free From: lactose, soy, corn, wheat and artificial flavours.
• Good For All Sizes: small enough for a toy breed and still worth having for a large one.

Using Them For Training

• Break them smaller. For repeated rewards in a session, half a piece does the same job as a whole one and keeps the calorie total sane.
• They are dry and crunchy, which makes them easy to keep in a pocket or pouch - and easy to lose count of. Measure out what you are going to use before you start.
• If you are doing a long session, take the equivalent out of that evening's meal.

Good To Know

• The pack weight is not stated on this listing - ask us before you order if you need to know exactly how much is in the bag.
• Treats of any kind should stay a small part of the day - around a tenth of the calories is the usual guidance. Take the difference out of meals rather than adding treats on top.
• Crunchy treats are not a dental product. They are a reward.
• Supervise your dog with any treat, as Himalayan ask. Bite-size pieces get gulped by big dogs, so hand them over one at a time.
• Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry cupboard. UAE humidity is what turns a crisp baked treat soft, so a clip or an airtight tub is worth the trouble.
• Himalayan recommend these for dogs over 12 weeks old.
• Fresh water alongside, always.
• Not for human consumption, and wash your hands after handling them.
