Description
Horizone Jumbo Koi Staples is a floating pellet food for koi and pond fish, made as an everyday staple diet with added colour enhancers. It comes in a 1.5 kg tub.
Key Benefits
- Daily Diet: a basic everyday food that Horizone makes for use in every season, so there is no need to switch foods as the year changes.
- Colour Enhancer: sold as a colour-enhancing staple, to support the natural colours of koi.
- Floating Pellets: the pellets stay on the surface, so you can watch your fish feed and see how much they eat.
- Protein: the pack lists at least 40% crude protein, with fish meal, soybean meal, wheat and corn plus added vitamins and minerals.
- Resealable Tub: a 1.5 kg tub with a handle and lid that keeps the food dry.
Good To Know
- Feed once or twice a day, as much as your fish eat in 5-10 minutes, and remove any food left over.
- Koi eat less when the water is cold and more when it is warm. Feed less if food is being left.
- In UAE summer heat, ponds lose oxygen quickly. Avoid overfeeding, as uneaten food fouls the water fast.
- Close the lid after each feed and store the tub somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun.
