Description
JBL ProFlora Taifun M is a CO2 diffuser for freshwater planted aquariums. CO2 from your CO2 system climbs through its channels in small bubbles and dissolves into the water on the way, so your plants get the carbon they need to grow.
Key Features
- For Tanks Up To 400 Litres: JBL rate it for up to 400 l at a carbonate hardness of 4 °KH, and up to 200 l at 10 °KH.
- No Extra Pump: the diffuser works on the gas pressure from your CO2 system alone.
- Collecting Cap: a cap at the top catches undissolved CO2 so less of it is lost to the air.
- Hose Included: comes with 2 m of special CO2-proof hose.
- Height: about 19 cm tall, so it needs a tank with enough water depth.
Good To Know
- It needs a CO2 system (cylinder and pressure reducer), which is not included.
- Fit it low in the tank where the current carries the fine bubbles through the water.
- Algae can coat the inside over time. Take it apart and clean it so the CO2 keeps flowing freely.
- JBL have since added the ProFlora Taifun Spiral range alongside it.
