Description
JBL ProScape Plant Soil Brown is a brown, nutrient-rich soil substrate for planted aquariums and aquascapes. It feeds plant roots from the first day.
Key Features
- Complete Nutrient Substrate: loaded with nutrients and minerals for aquatic plants.
- Soft, Slightly Acid Water: it lowers carbonate hardness and keeps the pH slightly acidic, the water many tropical plants and fish come from.
- Medium Grain: a grain size that lets water and oxygen reach the roots.
- Natural Brown Colour: a dark natural look that suits most aquascapes.
Size
- 3 L - 3 kg bag
Good To Know
- JBL also make a ShrimpsSoil version without added fertiliser for shrimp tanks.
- Lay it at the back deeper than at the front, so plants root well and the layout has depth.
- Fill the tank slowly over a plate or bag so the soil is not stirred up.
- Because it softens the water, check KH and pH in the first weeks before adding sensitive fish.
